All about Dog "Spot"

 

"Spot" the dog is such a favorite, this iconic Eric Hill story has delighted children over the years. The simple text and colorful pictures will engage a whole new generation of pre-readers as they lift the picture flaps in search of Spot. Spot book series is very extensive and has many titles like "Where's Spot?',  "Spot goes to school", "Spot Goes to the farm", "Spot's birthday party"...and so on. This loveable puppy Spot introduces children to new experiences through friendship and play.

 

Make this simple DIY dog craft!

Materials needed

  1. Dog Template for ears and nose.

  2. white envelope

  3. black marker

  4. glue

  5. sponge(any to make spots) and water 

  6. Brown paint

  7. Brown card stock

Step 1

Let's gather all the material trace and cut the dog ears and nose out of brown card using the template provided.

Step 2

Take the envelope, brown paint, brush, and sponge. Remove some brown paint with the help of a  brush on a plate. Dab the sponge in the brown paint and make some spots on the envelope

Step 3

Make some big spots and some small ones on both sides of the envelope.

Leave it to dry.

Step 4

Get the pair of ears and nose which we cut previously and stick it on the envelope with fevicol once it had dried. Stick the googly eyes too.

Step 5

Add a few features like a mouth or tongue for extra fun. YOU could also add a tail at the back.
